Q.
How much profit can be made making rubber stamps?
A.
Business Stamps are the most profitable type of stamp, for example a Self Inking stamp that sells for $40.00 AUD will have a material cost of about $7 to $8. Business stamps are generally sold by newsagents and stationery stores on behalf of a few large manufacturers here in Australia. Craft stamps have lower profitability as they are not custom made designs and usually mass produced, being able to offer custom made art stamps with an InstaStamp system will allow you to command higher retail prices.

Q.
Why is the InstaPlate polymer system better than
other polymer systems?
A. Air bubbles in stamps during processing has been eliminated thanks to InstaPlate, other than the problem of air bubbles being introduced during the pouring of polymers it is the speed of production that brings the biggest benefits. Labour costs to manufacture stamps are reduced significantly using InstaPlate compared to pouring liquid polymer. If required, the InstaStamp Rubber Stamp Making System can process pouring polymers in addition to processing InstaPlate.

Q. I wish to sell mostly craft stamps for card making and scrapbooking, can my customers use repositionable glue on stamps made with InstaStamp?
A.
You can use glues such as off'n'On glue to create a repositionable bond between your mount and a stamp made with the InstaStamp stamp. A better method of affixing stamps is to use InstaGrip, a non-adhesive mat that clings to both acrylic mount and the stamp, it is also completely clear to assist with placement of images. Visit our page about InstaGrip to see how it works.
